What I keep, and why.
This site collects very little. Here's all of it, where it goes, and how to make it go away.
Who's responsible
This is JJ Steelman's personal site, run from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Questions about your information go to me at itsme@jjsteelman.com.
If you apply for Ascend
The application asks for your name, email, company, revenue range, and what's stuck. Phone and website are optional. I use it to read your application and decide whether to reply about a call.
It's stored in my CRM, which runs on GoHighLevel. Your answers are saved as a note on your contact record, with tags that say you came from this site and which revenue range you picked. If you picked under $1M, I may point you to MAAD Society instead.
If you sign up for the letters
I collect your email address and nothing else. It's stored with Resend, the service that sends the letters. Every letter has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list.
When you just read the site
No cookies. No analytics. No ad pixels. The fonts and images load from this site, not from anyone else's.
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver pages and block abuse. I don't use that to build a profile of you.
Who else sees it
Only the services named above, and only to do their job: GoHighLevel stores applications, Resend sends letters, Cloudflare hosts the site. I don't sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.
Seeing it, fixing it, deleting it
Email itsme@jjsteelman.com and ask. I'll tell you what I have, correct it, or delete it. You don't need a reason.
If this changes
If the site starts collecting something new, this page changes first, and the date at the top moves.
